Hip-hop dance refers to dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture.

Studio hip-hop (new style) is choreographed hip-hop social dancing. Like African dance, new style hip-hop is very rhythmic and involves a lot of footwork and radial movement of the hips. In addition, emphasis is placed on musicality-how sensitive your movements are to the music-and being able to freestyle (improvise). As long as dancers keep the foundational movements, they can add their own (free) style and have a performance that is still hip-hop. Our teachers choreograph their work on the latest commercial hits of Beyonce, Asher, Lill Wayne, Bruno Mars and others. Popping is a street dance and one of the original funk styles that came from California during the 1960s–1970s. It is based on the technique of quickly contracting and relaxing muscles to cause a jerk in the dancer's body, referred to as a pop or a hit. This is done continuously to the rhythm of a song in combination with various movements and poses. . A popping dancer is commonly referred to as a popper. As one of the earliest funk styles, popping is closely related to hip hop dancing. It is often performed in battles, where participants try to outperform each other in front of a crowd, giving room for improvisation and freestyle moves.

Breaking was created in the South Bronx, New York during the early 1970s. It is the first hip-hop dance style.

Breaking includes four foundational dances: toprock, footwork oriented steps performed while standing up; downrock, footwork performed with both hands and feet on the floor; freezes, stylish poses done on your hands; and power moves, complex and impressive acrobatic moves. Transitions from toprock to downrock are called "drops". Break dance is very athletic and will definitely increase your physical strength and power!

Salsa is a dance form with origins from the Cuban Son (circa 1920s) and Afro-Cuban dance (specifically Afro-Cuban rumba).

It is generally associated with the salsa music style, although it may be danced under other types of Latin American music. The Salsa is a lively, fiery and enjoyable dance that is really easy to get the basics of. In essence, Salsa is no more than a front and back step with your partner with a sway to it. It's largely a partner dance, but with many fancy "shines" that can be thrown in individually. We also offer non-syllabus classes for adults from beginner to advance levels.
